Digital Posters

Have you tried Padlet yet? Yes? Then, move on! (You are probably already hooked.) If not, let's check it out. Go to padlet.com and take 30 seconds to create a digital, interactive poster for your students.

All you have to do is click on the center of the screen and type a word, phrase, quote, sentence, or question. Images and videos work, too. Provide students with the address and away you go. Students can respond to you and each other. It's instant.

Below you can see a screen shot of a group's ideas before (at the top) and after some learning (at the bottom). Padlet worked great as participants read and responded to each other. I also got a good chance for some formative assessment. In fact, I'm visiting with the same group in a few months. I can't wait to have them visit their original thoughts and comment on them.

Don't have many computers in your room? That's OK. Students can work in groups to develop team responses. No problem!
